History

During the colonial period, the Andean grains: quinoa, cañawa and amaranth were not relevant for the conquerors, even during the Republic they were named as “Food for Indians”

Lately, at the last quarter of the XX century, foreign people started to show interest in them because of their excellent nutritious qualities.

Our enterprise is pioneer in the recovering and industrial transformation of the Andean grains, as well as, the recovering of their different ancient and modern cultural usages.

We wok with peasant producers that in some cases are organized but in others they work in an individual way in order to obtain selected grains from selected farming as organic and conventional. Promoting a fair and sustainable trade with the indigenous groups.
